There are always interesting conversations and discussions going on in this forum, and anyone can contribute once they have signed up for a free Yahoo! account. The student is somewhat prepared, but it is clear that rehearsal was lacking.

Content
Shows a full understanding of the topic and that is reflected in the presentation.
Shows a good understanding of the topic, but some further comprehension is needed.
Shows a good understanding of parts of the topic; more time could have been spent to better understand the topic.
Does not seem to understand the topic very well; cannot clearly show that s/he understands the material.
Speaks Clearly
Speaks clearly and distinctly all (100-95%) of the time, and mispronounces no words.
Speaks clearly and distinctly all (100-95%) of the time, but mispronounces one word.
Speaks clearly and distinctly most ( 94-85%) of the time. Mispronounces no more than one word.
Often mumbles or can not be understood AND/OR mispronounces more than one word.
Vocabulary
Uses vocabulary appropriate for the audience. Extends audience vocabulary by defining words that might be new to most of the audience.
